I completely forgot about biological until now. Must have been some weird memory block. I like that one too, it tells you right away what that means. Whew...I can't believe that I forgot it. Until I had my son, her and my biological father were my only biological people. Perhaps to some it sounds sterile? but for me, it sounds right : )Campbellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13600505149020853906noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2954722762708102532.post-26621396552282131492010-02-24T11:24:38.155-08:002010-02-24T11:24:38.155-08:00I agree Mrs. Miller. I use it because I am used to it, and it is the most identifiable phrase to fully explain where I am coming from.

This was just a musing that I had, and it also helps to know what other lingo is out there, because you are right...it is VERY confusing! Like you said, to each his own.

The only one that I do not care for is Original Mother. I think of myself as a bag of Orville Reddenbocker's popcorn. Then again, I am one original person...LOL LOL LOL

Thank you for the comment, I love your point of view!Kelsey Stewart, Authorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11772746376820263241noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2954722762708102532.post-27245259022621493052010-02-24T10:45:57.928-08:002010-02-24T10:45:57.928-08:00I like birthmother, that's what I have always ...I like birthmother, that's what I have always known it to be. All these other names are confusing....I guess if you were to define the word mother it would make more sense. I was never Anna's MOTHER, however, I grew her in my stomach and gave BIRTH to her...so it just seems to be that birthmother is the best word. To each their own, I suppose. I know that there are so many people who have NO IDEA what a birthmother is, and that makes me sad and a little angry at the ignorance. I hope as time progresses and adoption is more and more less taboo that the word will become known mainstream! (I sent you a pic of him on FB).

He was strong, and brave, and loyal. He stood up for what was right. He roared when he needed to...letting his voice be heard. And when he dug his feet in against those that were not loving or even just plain evil, he'd do his "CareBear Stare" and all that love and positive energy would shoot straight out from his tummy. His little heart with the crown symbol would glow brightly, and all would be well.

That's how I feel about certain "birthmoms" and especially about you. Your strength is an inspiration, and your lion roar is music to the ears of those that hear it.

Keep on spreading the love Brave Heart!!!MrsPerrbearhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08289577668126018333noreply@blogger.com
